Dutch Boy Paints

The “Dutch Process” for making paint, adopted by the Dutch Boy Co., originated with two chemists in 16th century Holland. The Dutch Boy icon was created to symbolize its superior method for creating paint. However, Michael E. Brady, the 9-year-old boy who became the inspiration for this famous trademark, wasn’t Dutch at all. He was an Irish American who lived near the artist commissioned to create the logo.

Did You Know?

The Hummingbird is the world smallest bird, from the beak to the tail measures only 6cm (2.36inch). Is colored with bright colors and has an extended bill and tongue (depending on the species) to easily collect nectar from the flowers.

Apart from their size the Hummingbirds have other curiosities,They have a very fast frequency of wing fluttering, they flutter 80 times in a second, allowing them to stay hovering in the air or to fly,to either side, backwards and forward. They are the only birds that can fly backwards.
